My First Project

This is my first ever project in my first year as an assignment to test my design skills and evaluate what I learned in my first semester.

In December 2020, I was given my first ever project from the college to design an interface for an ATM, specifically for kids. During this project, I learned a lot, one of which is that interviewing kids is not as easy as it looks.

I have written my first ever blog on interviewing kids recently, and if you would like to read it, you can go and visit my blog by clicking the button below.

For one of my initial steps, I came up with a long and exhaustive list of interview questions covering every little piece of data I needed to collect to start creating the interface.

The Interview Questions

Then based on the interviews I did I created two personas, "ATM Expert" and "ATM Novice"

The two personas are attached as buttons below.

The next step was to create the task/user flow, shown below.

My next step was to create wireframes on paper. I have added it to the carousel below.

My final step was to create and get it tested by my users, but unfortunately, many of my users did not consent to test the product, and those who did the testing did not provide any usable feedback.

The prototype is attached below. Please click the screen below to interact with the prototype

The keyboard interface that I designed for the prototype is displayed below.
