SMI Noticeboard - Initial Phase

This is the first project I have worked on, which had the opportunity to evolve into a real-life solution, as some of the users' pain points directly applied to my teammates and me.

For the primary research, we were tasked to create a list of questions and a survey form to understand the users' pain points, which in this case were the students and the faculty.

Next, our faculty tasked each of us to create a project brief that should cover everything we had to do till the deadline, where we understood the basics of making a proper project brief. The project brief that I made is put below.

Until the four of us could agree on the tasks to be done and by what date, our faculty tasked us to do secondary research where we assessed everything happening in our college regularly. And what other colleges are employing the already present solutions?

Next, we did the interviews and surveys. Now for interviews, I used Microsoft Teams due to its capability to record the meetings, and for the surveys, I used Google Forms.

Attached is the survey form, and right beside it is the data.

After all the research, interviews, and survey, all four of us did affinity mapping, which in simpler words, is categorizing the data into meaningful and logical groups.
